On Thursday, May 5, Sagicor Investments and Corporate Commercial Banking redefined what it means to enjoy fine art and food with its inaugural "Cocktails on Canvas" event at the Terra Nova All Suite Hotel. Hosted by Michael Willacy vice-president of Commercial Banking and Tara Nunes, vice-president, Client Services and Wealth Management, guests were treated to an unrivalled opportunity to engage with a few of Jamaica's most creative and talented artists, the likes of form, fashion, and flowers creator Arwa Turra, realism artist, Ranford Anderson, and painter Lennox Coke.

Set against the elegant poolside backdrop, "Cocktails on Canvas" was an unmatched experience combining approachable creative adventures, culinary explorations, and premier cocktail tastings. The event was designed for customers with a love of the arts, as well as those who desire an immersive getaway, providing the perfect balance of active, intellectual art-focused conversations, and interactive art demonstrations, paired with superb food, wines, and cocktails.

"We are thrilled to unveil this riveting Cocktails & Canvas event, a first for our combined entities," explained Nunes, "Our team has poured passion into the planning of this event to cater to our special clients which we hope will raise awareness for the talent which exists in our country".

Over the course of 90 minutes, three renowned artists worked and transformed blank canvases into works of art as guests looked on in amazement.

At the end of the night, guests walked away with one-of-a-kind artistic pieces from a few of Jamaica's artistic geniuses.
