Poem fate of the free will
Let’s have heart
Let’s have heart
And space ourselves
Three feet apart
Let’s act fast
to bring this disease
to its last
Let’s have heart
and play our part
To do our best
to turn the spread off
Hand sanitizers
Elbow coughs
Masks and rubbing alcohol
Social distancing and all
Let’s follow the safety protocol
and not put up a resistance
to what is meant
to preserve our existence
Let’s protect one another and
be each other’s sister
and brother
Let’s mold a better
survival rate
for everyone
Paving a better year to come
in 2021
Let’s protect our fathers and
mothers
And also our neighbours
especially the elders
Don’t be naive
or be a fool
To think that this could never
happen to you or to your
loved ones
For many
There are no symptoms
But still they can spread t
he virus
To any one of us in
the populace
So let’s have heart
Three feet apart
while we unite
In preventing the unwanted
spike
Let’s heed to the word
Let’s do what we can
to flatten the curve
Let’s continue to be safe
Doing what’s right
So we can live to see
Another day and night
Let’s have heart
And do our utmost
To play our part.
