JMA, NCB launch co-branded credit card
Jamaica Manufacturers' Association (JMA) and National Commercial Bank (NCB) have partnered on a credit card facility.
The card is co-branded JMA/NCB Business Edge. JMA President Metry Seaga says the facility comes with reduced interest rates and fees.
JMA members will also have access to a $2 billion pool of funds.
"A major component of our partnership is loan financing, which will result in JMA members having access to a pool of funds of up to $2 billion, both secured and unsecured," Seaga said at the launch of the card in documents released after the event held on Tuesday.
"Special concessions are also available to members with particular loan purposes, including renewable energy, capital expenditure and working capital support. A consistent flow of credit is a vital lifeline for manufacturers, their growth and advancement," he added.
