Stocks Round Up | 31 advance, 30 decline, 20 trade firm

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE's) combined index advanced nearly 3,000 points on Thursday.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 81 stocks of which 31 advanced, 30 declined and 20 traded firm.

Winners
Ciboney gained 9.1 per cent to close at $0.12
Sygnus Credit gained 7.9 per cent closing at $0.15
PBS gained 7.14 per cent to close at $0.75
RJR gained 5.0 per cent to closing at $1.90
Victoria Mutual Investments gained 4.4 per cent to close at $10.50

Losers
Jetcon down 8.5 per cent to close at $1.65
Dove down 8.1 per cent to close at $10.80
Purity down 7.7 per cent to close at $1.65
Caribbean Cream down 6.7 per cent to close at $4.01
Sagicor XFund down 5.5 per cent to close at $9.88

Market Volume
Market volume amounted to 31.8 million units valued at over $112.4 million. 

Wigton Windfarm  was the volume leader with 17.6 million units (55.23 per cent) followed by Sagicor Select Funds Financial with 6.28 million units (19.72 per cent) and Lumber Depot Limited with 1.5 million units (4.74 per cent).

Advanced by 2,957.98 points ( 0.60 per cent) to close at 494,334.87.

Advanced by 3,628.22 points ( 0.73 per cent) to close at 499,677.72. 

JSE All Jamaican Composite Index
Advanced by 4,003.98 points ( 0.74 per cent) to close at 548,733.81. ​

JSE Select Index
Advanced by 125.41 points ( 0.98 per cent) to close at 12,862.80.

JSE Cross Listed Index
Closed at 97.24.

The Junior Market Index
Declined by 34.24 points (1.06 per cent) to close at 3,211.18. 

The JSE USD Equities Index
Advanced by 3.06 points (1.32 per cent) to close at 235.51.

JSE Financial Index
Advanced by 1.55 points (1.15 per cent) to close at 136.32. 

JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index
Advanced by 0.29 points ( 0.31 per cent) to close at 95.22.
