The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Tuesday, recovering lost ground.
The busy trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 40/48.
The JSE Combined Index advanced by 785.15 points or 0.19 per cent to close at 404,948.39.
The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 1,224.58 points or 0.31 per cent to close at 398,238.41., while the Junior Market Index declined by 35.13 points or 0.96 per cent to close at 3,618.80.
The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 2.33 points or 1.16 per cent to close at 198.06.

Market volume
Some 43.4 million units valued at over $292.96 million were traded today.
Volume leaders were Stanley Motta, followed by Wigton and then C&WJCCU.
