The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed on Thursday, losing ground marginally.

The moderate to active trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 45/47.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 476.12 points or 0.12 per cent, to close at 404,822.41.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 748.16 points or 0.19 per cent, to close at 394,699.55.

The Junior Market Index advanced by 25.54 points or 0.65 per cent to close at 3,974.74.

Meanwhile, the JSE USD Equities Index declined by 0.21 points or 0.11 per cent, to close at 198.11.

Overall market activity 108 stocks traded. 45 advanced. 47 declined 16 traded firm.

Margaritaville (Turks) (USD), up 25 cent to close at US$0.15
Express Catering, up 16.84 per cent to close at $ 6.94
FESCO, up 9.43 per cent to close at $3.83
Sygnus Investment (USD) up 7.18 per cent to close at US$0.13
SSLVC, up 6.30per cent to close at $1.35

CPJ, down 16.92 per cent to close at $17.23
Dolphin Cove, down 11.53 per cent to close at $25.70
Eppley Caribbean Prop fund SCC, down 11.12 per cent closing at $38.21

Lasco Manufacturing, down 7.79 per cent to close at $4.50
Market volume 35.959 million units valued at over $212.12 million

The volume leaders were: Spur Tree Spices, followed by Wigton and Lumber Depot.
