The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Thursday, once again down.

The busy trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 33/58.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 6,193.95 points or 1.51 per cent to close at 402,773.82.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 5,907.36 points or1.48 per cent to close at 393,843.61, while the Junior Market Index declined by 74.83 points or 1.91 per cent to close at 3,833.15.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 2.01 points or 0.98 per cent to close at 206.91.

Kremi up 5.16 per cent to close at $5.30.

IronRock Insurance down 21.27per cent closing at $3.11
C&WCCU deferred Shares, down 16.28per cent to close at $1.80
Tropical Battery down 16.11 per cent closing at $1.51
Carib Cement down 14.81 per cent to close at $71.24
Cargo Handlers down 11.93 per cent to close at $7.38

Market volume

Some 53.2 million units valued at over $257.43 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Tropical Battery, followed by Spur Tree Spices and then Sagicor Select -Financial.
