Stocks Round Up | Sterling Investments today's top advancer, 138 Student Living leads decliners

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index closed Friday on a winning note.

The busy trading session ended with an advance/decline ratio of 53/34.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 1,646.44 points or 0.41 per cent, to close at 404,420.26.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 1,370.17 points or 0.35 per cent to close at 395,213.78, while the Junior Market Index advanced by 41.19 points or1.07 per cent to close at 3,874.34.

The JSE USD Equities Index declined by 2.35 points or 1.14 per cent to close at 204.56.

Stanley Motta up 8.26 per cent to close at $3.67.

Losers

138 Student Living down 24.66 per cent closing at $5.59
Key Insurance down 15.83per cent to close at $4.20
iCreate down 9.33 per cent closing at $0.68
tTech down 7.45 per cent to close at $4.35
Palace Amusement down 6.46 per cent to close at $888.66

Market volume

Some 33 million units valued at over $229 million were traded today.

Volume leaders were Derrimon Trading, followed by C&WJCCU Deferred Shares and then JMMB Group.
