Stocks Round Up | MPC Caribbean, Stanley Motta and PBS today's top advancers

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index bounced back on Thursday.

The moderate trading ended with an advance/decline ratio of 60/30.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 7,085.72 points or 1.93 per cent, to close at 374,131.76.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 7,542.39 points or 2.14 per cent, to close at 360,761.38; while the Junior Market Index advanced by 3.73 points or 0.09 per cent, to close at 4,094.15.

The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 9.00 points or 4.57 per cent, to close at 206.02.

Winners

MPC Caribbean Clean Energy, up 19.31 per cent to close at $82.19

Stanley Motta, up 15.00 per cent to close at $5.29

PBS, up 14.61 per cent to close at $1.32

Cargo Handlers, up 13.32 per cent to close at $13.78

Eppley Caribbean Prop Fund SCC, up 12.48 per cent to close at $44.99

Losers

MDS, down 11.63 per cent closing at $5.85

Jamaican Teas, down 10.73 per cent to close at $2.58

Iron Rock Insurance, down 8.08 per cent to close at $2.73

tTech, down 7.12 per cent closing at $3.00

MFS Capital Partners, down 5.34 per cent to close at $3.90.

Market volume

19.58 million units valued at over $108.68 million.

Volume leaders were: MFS Capital Partners, followed by Wigton and FESCO.
