In Wednesday’s trading session the following reflects the movement of the JSE Indices:

• The JSE Index declined by 1,159.46 points (0.35%) to close at 330,217.61 points and the volume traded amounted to 12,992,157 valued at $42,746,105.21.

• The Junior Market Index declined by 8.01 points (0.22%) to close at 3,693.19 points and the volume traded amounted to 72,320,927 valued at $1,687,100,183.06.

• The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,154.39 points (0.34%) to close at 341,927.86 points and the volume traded amounted to 85,313,084 valued at $1,729,846,288.27.

• The JSE All Jamaican Composite Index declined by 2,088.91 points (0.56%) to close at 369,166.27 points and the volume traded amounted to 12,985,159 valued at $32,418,877.53.

• The JSE Select Index declined by 30.51 points (0.38%) to close at 8,087.63 points and the volume traded amounted to 864,859 valued at $28,229,691.69.

• The JSE USD Equities Index advanced by 0.44 points (0.21%) to close at 210.34 points and the volume traded amounted to 236,678 valued at $35,766.51.

• The JSE Cross Listed Index advanced by 0.34 points (0.57%) to close at 59.94 points and the volume traded amounted to 6,719 valued at $653,776.14.

• The JSE Financial Index advanced by 0.01 points (0.01%) to close at 76.30 points and the volume traded amounted to 464,309 valued at $1,690,717,942.20.

• The JSE Manufacturing & Distribution Index declined by 0.13 points (0.14%) to close at 95.83 points and the volume traded amounted to 2,084,815 valued at $16,164,172.86.

Overall market activity resulted from trading in 105 stocks of which 40 advanced, 47 declined and 18 traded firm.

The JA$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 85,313,084 units valued at $1,729,846,288.27. The US$ market volume (excluding blocks) amounted to 236,678 units valued at $35,766.51.

The following companies represent the overall volume leaders: ACCESS FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED with 67,861,430 units (79.32%); TRANSJAMAICAN HIGHWAY LIMITED with 4,149,770 units (4.85%); and JMMB GROUP LIMITED 7.50% with 2,374,513 units (2.78%).
