Stocks Round Up | MPC Caribbean Clean Energy today's top performer

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index again reversed the previous day's gains.

An even more hectic trading session, ended with an advance/decline ratio of 42/47.

The JSE Combined Index declined by 1,463.69 points or 0.42 per cent, to close at 343,650.19.

The JSE Main Market Index declined by 1,446.13 points or 0.43 per cent, to close at 332,138.52, while the Junior Market Index declined by 12.49 points or 0.34 per cent, to close at 3,686.08.

The JSE USD Equities advanced by 0.92 points or 0.40 per cent, to close at 229.36.

  • Ciboney, up 11.11 per cent to close at $0.70
  • Eppley Ltd, up 10.61 per cent to close at $37.11.

Losers

  • JPS Co 7%, down 19.80 per cent to close at $47.75
  • MG Packaging, down 15.36 per cent closing at $2.59
  • MPC Caribbean Clean Energy (USD), down 15.02 per cent to close at US$0.59
  • Eppley Ltd Prefs 7%, down 11.68 per cent closing at $16.56
  • FirstRock Real Estate Inv (USD), down 7.11 per cent to close at US$0.06

Market volume

30.85 million units valued at over $113.30 million.

Volume leaders were: Transjamaican Highway (USD), followed by Transjamaican Highway and Tropical Battery.
