Stocks Round Up | tTech, Edufocal the biggest winners today

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Combined Index clawed back lost ground on Wednesday.

The busy trading on small volumes, ended with an advance/decline ratio of 45/39.

The JSE Combined Index advanced by 2,806.14 points ( 0.86 %) to close at 329,996.31.

The JSE Main Market Index advanced by 2,954.52 points ( 0.95 %) to close at 315,397.9; while the Junior Market Index advanced by 4.65 points ( 0.12 %) to close at 3,903.72.

The JSE USD Equities declined by 0.88 points ( 0.38 %) to close at 230.60 .

  • tTech, up 28.99 per cent to close at $2.18
  • Edufocal, up 23.84 per cent to close at $ 2.13

  • Salada Foods, up 12.18 per cent to close at $3.04
  • MPC Caribbean Clean Energy, up 11.11 per cent to close at $90.00

Losers

  • First Rock (USD), down 9.45 per cent to close at US$0.044
  • Jamaican Teas, down 8.00 per cent closing at $2.30
  • Blue Power, down 7.85 per cent closing at $2.70
  • MFS Capital, down 7.73 per cent to close at $1.79
  • ISP Finance, down 6.71 per cent to close at $ 31.00

Market volume

20.77 million units valued at over $71.25 million.

Volume leaders were: MailPac, followed by Edufocal and Wigton.
