Flood-stricken T&T hit by magnitude 5.1 quake

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC – An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 was felt in sections of the twin-island republic this afternoon.
The Seismic Research Centre at the University of the West Indies (UWI), St Augustine campus, reported that the tremor was felt at 12:35 p.m. (local time) 78 kilometres northeast of Scarborough, 161 km northeast of Arima and 181 km northeast of Port of Spain. It had a depth of 80 kilometres.
There have been no reports of injuries or damages.
