Norris McDonald | Mind control, Trump’s ‘dotard insurrection’ and Biden’s ‘Bolt-like’ actions

History will record January 6, 2021 as ‘America’s White day of shame!’ On that shameful day, an angry mob of White nationalists stormed America’s Washington Capitol with clearly murderous intent.

The chants rang out:

“Hang Mike Pence!

Hang Mike Pence!”

The Confederate flag, the disgraceful White symbol of slavery, was raised by Donald Trump-loving MAGA-terrorists, in the same Congressional Hall where Black Slavery was abolished in America on January 31, 1865.

TRUMP’S DOTARD INSURRECTION

Mike Pence was one of the main targets of the insurrectionist mob. He was ‘heading’ the Joint Session of the US Congress certifying Joe Biden as America’s 46th president, following the November 2020 general election victory.

The ‘Dotard Trumpian Insurrectionists’ built a hangman’s gallows outside the US Capital, complete with noose. Then they hunted VP Mike Pence with the murderous chants, since they were led to believe that he was not helping ‘their beloved dear leader’ Donald ‘The Coup Plotter’ Trump to remain in power.

Trump’s incendiary language and his ‘big lie’ that he won the election and it was stolen from him spurred the mob to commit insurrection, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi later said.

Given the treacherous insurrection, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently issued a grave warning that “Domestic Violent Extremists may be emboldened by the January 6, 2021 breach of the US Capitol Building in Washington, DC, to target elected officials and Government facilities.”

I will return to further discuss the MAGA-terrorist insurrection in a minute. But it is sufficient to say that an uncanny three days before (in my Jamaica Gleaner article, January 3, 2021), I advised that MAGA-terrorism must be a top priority of the Biden administration.

BIDEN’S BOLT-LIKE ACTIONS

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris have been sworn in and started working hard to tackle the COVID-19 crisis that has so far killed over 420,000 Americans.

President Biden, in rapid-fire, ‘Usain Lightning Bolt-like’ action, has issued over 40 presidential decrees, which, unless blocked by court actions, take legal effect, to direct the government to implement the specific policies outlined in the documents.

Biden’s executive policy actions include increased COVID-19 testing and vaccination; immigration reform with a path to citizenship for 11 million immigrants; racial justice reforms; eliminating private prisons; action against evictions; student loans easement; and expanding food-income support.

Now, I do not think we can move on without a deeper analysis of the January 6, 2021 insurrection and other events that I believe culminated into the mad display by power-crazy MAGA-terrorists.

How could a violent mob of insurrectionists attack the US Capitol?

‘MAGAZOMBIES’ MIND CONTROL

I believe it is reasonable to conclude that with Trump’s seemingly diabolical, manipulative power and control shown over the ‘MAGAzombies’, he may have achieved ‘the holy grail’ of mind control.

What do I mean by this?

Mind control involves actions aimed at manipulating how people think, act and behave. It is like the famous neurological scientist Ivan Pavlov getting a dog to salivate for food at the ringing of a bell. In this case, we have the MAGAzombies salivating and motivated to protect their cult leader, Donald ‘The Coup Plotter’ Trump.

Strange as it may seem, there are videos showing some insurrectionists literally ‘foaming at the mouth’ – a fact confirmed by Capitol Hill policeman, Michael Fanone, who survived a brutal murderous attack.

Fox News and other right wing MAGA media, Facebook and Trump’s Twitter feed, along with the “captive audience preaching” of White evangelical Christians, in my opinion, were central to the bamboozling of Trump’s MAGAzombies.

Active, captive consciousness, behavioural modification and manipulation were the diabolical objectives of the MAGA propagandists. And they shamefully achieved it with the penultimate act, Trump’s big ‘big lie’ that he won the 2020 election by a landslide and it was stolen from him.

This, in my opinion, finally sent the MAGAzombies into ‘Cuckoo land’.

DANGEROUS BEHAVIOUR

The angry insurrectionist mob was whipped into a murderous frenzy. At the end of the day, six persons died.

Capitol Hill police officer Brian Sicknick was cruelly beaten to death. His colleague, Howard Liebengood, was so traumatised by the mob he went home and committed suicide. The other victims were MAGA-terrorists.

The blood of all these victims is on the head of those who inspired the mob. This includes Republican political leaders, media personalities and White evangelical Christians who either participated in the insurrection or gave it moral, religious and political support.

Religious fanatics were active in the Capitol Hill mob. Some fanatics carried huge wooden crosses and signs extolling ‘Jesus’ on display during the insurrection.

Reality check?

• Six persons died from Trump’s Dotard Insurrection.

• Over 420,000 Americans have died due to his inept management of the COVID-19 health crisis.

• The country is facing a shrinking economy with unemployment at the worse level since World War II.

• There is pervasive poverty, hunger, and homelessness.

THE DOTARD

William Shakespeare, if he was to write a play about Trump’s four dismal years of bungling, would use his play Much Ado About Nothing.

In this play, Shakespearean tragicomedy Leonato, a key character, warn of the dangers of ‘loose, careless talk [and actions] from someone who babbles like a dotard’.

Simply put: someone who ‘babbles like a mindless idiot!’

Sound familiar?

Do you remember ‘Dr Trump’ asking health expert, Dr Deborah Brix, “if disinfectant can be injected in the human body to scrub out and kill the COVID-19, novel coronavirus?”

What ah dotard!

Oh yes!

Only a deranged dotard could come up with such a brainless, ‘airy-fairy’ medical scheme; or imagined that his bloody insurrection could have helped him remain in power; perhaps ‘an earthly God-king’.

Woe betides us!

My dear friends, we will forever woefully hang our heads in shame when we remember ‘America’s White Day of Shame’ – January 6, 2021 insurrection at the Washington, DC ,Capitol, inspired by the ‘Chosen One’ – Donald ‘The Coup Plotter’ Trump!

That is just the bitta truth!
