Patrons who made it to the Carib last Saturday for the start of The Met: Live in HD 2016-17 season and the 100th transmission in the series' history were captivated by Tristan und Isolde by distinguished German composer, Richard Wagner.
The audience was pulled in by the dramatic opera from start to finish, as Nina Stemme sang her signature role, Isolde, with Stuart Skelton singing Tristan.
The performance was presented by Palace Amusement in association with the Jamaican German Society and the Gleaner, and encores at Palace Cineplex this Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
