Dalton through to next round

Jamaican's very own Dalton Harris was among the first set of contestants sent through to the next round in yesterday's results show of the British talent competition X-Factor.

With news coming late last week that TVJ had acquired the rights to air the show on Saturday, Jamaicans were able to see the live show for the first time on RETV. On Saturday, Harris wowed the judges with his rendition of Whitney Houston's I Have Nothing, with judge Simon Cowell saying he was in his own league vocally. Harris now joins the 12 other finalists for the next live-show performance with hopes of winning the top prize of a recording contract and a cash prize.
