In this comedy-drama about the alluring, fast-paced music world in Hollywood, Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross – Black-ish, Girlfriends) is a superstar whose talent and ego have soared to incredible heights. Maggie (Dakota Johnson – Fifty Shades series) is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who has dreams of being a music producer, but finds herself trapped as a gofer.

Things come to a head when Grace’s long-time manager (Ice Cube) presents the singer with a choice that could alter the course of her career, and she must choose between playing it safe or listening to her heart, in a decision that could change her life forever.

The High Note is directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Flora Greeson. The film also stars Kelvin Harrison Jr, Zoë Chao, Bill Pullman, Eddie Izzard, and Ice Cube.
