Xodus Remedy to illuminate National Stadium on Saturday
Xodus Carnival is in preparation mode for the next event in their Road to Carnival line-up. On Saturday, the grounds of the National Stadium in Kingston will be illuminated with neon lights as Campari Xodus Remedy Glow Edition: Mini Road March gets under way.
As a precursor to the 2024 carnival season, Campari Xodus Remedy will have soca lovers on a musical high as DJs Laing D, DJ Rico, ZJ Zess and Coppershot Music will be blasting all the faves. This is the first carnival lead up event for Xodus, and as such, the organisers promise to leave no stones unturned in ensuring patrons have a grand time.
“Campari Xodus Remedy is more than just a party, it is an experience that is never to be missed. I’m happy that our mini road march execution this year will build on the stellar showing we had last year. We want everyone to have a taste of what it’s like to be on the road with Xodus, so we’re pulling out all the stops,” shared Pierre Goubault, CEO of Xodus Carnival.
Campari Xodus Remedy is a ‘mas couture’ themed event, inspired by the Rave costume. Remedy will be a drink inclusive event where patrons are advised to come decked out in their rave-inspired Monday-wear ensembles.
“All the fetes that we have on our calendar leading up to carnival day are what makes the Xodus experience so unique. Since our band launch, we have had an extremely positive response from masqueraders, we have already sold out of one our backpack options- X-large Victorian backpack – and we have costumes looking to be sold out in short order. This is a definite testament to how we show up and cater for our masqueraders,” Goubault added.
The party kicks off at 8 pm and will transition into the road march segment at 11 p.m. This will continue into the early morning, ending at 2 p.m.
