Lucky reveller thrilled to win ‘Xodus Xperience’

Xodus Carnival was completely immersed in the festivities of the holidays as the company doubled down on its commitment to giving back to its community. From December 13-24, 2023, Xodus Carnival ran a ‘12 Days of Christmas’ campaign geared towards engaging revellers and the Band’s social media following.

Featuring daily giveaways, the campaign encouraged people to participate by resharing specific posts from the company’s Instagram page, or posting their own photos and videos based on the prompt for that day. The daily challenges saw revellers winning Xodus costumes, Xodus Remedy and Tailgate tickets, backpack upgrades, season bands, T-shirt packages, and the ultimate prize, the ‘Xodus Xperience’.

The grand prize was awarded to Phillippa Smith, who emerged victorious by sharing a 15-seconds video on Instagram, detailing what she is looking forward to the most on the road with Xodus on April 7. This will be her first time jumping at carnival.

Her prize included an Envy costume, a Carnival Glam Hub make-up and photography package, four months free gym membership from Express Fitness, and an Xodus season band.

“I decided to participate in the Xodus Xperience because after attending their band launch, I envisioned jumping with Xodus one day. I entered the giveaway two times prior to entering the final challenge on day 12, and I’m super elated to have won. My costume is already chosen and I even have it saved as my screensaver, and I’m already preparing for the other events. Words cannot express how happy and excited I am to be jumping with the biggest and best band in Jamaica,” shared an elated Smith.

Shanique Hayden, marketing manager at Xodus Carnival, was a ball of glee at the Xodus Xperience handover.

“Christmas is a time of cheer, so we wanted to spread the joy that comes with the season and give back to those who’ve supported us over the years in a fun and exciting way. The 12 Days of Christmas giveaway really allowed us to strengthen our bond with our Xodus family, and helped us to create new bonds with prospective revellers. We are happy that we were able to facilitate this campaign, and I look forward to fêteing with all the winners at our pre-carnival fêtes, and of course, on the road come April 7,” Hayden said.

From April 3-6, Xodus will be hosting its Fête Gala, Tailgate and Remedy, culminating with Road March on April 7.
