Western Jamaica gives country a sneak peak at its beauties
Jamaica has won the Miss Jamaica World competition on three occasions and has made the semi-finals 23 times. That success has come from the rigid process of elimination the country goes through with its contestants becoming savants after having gone through the rigours of parish finals before getting a chance to show up for the national event. St James has a proud history of doing well at the national level and this 1973 story shows why.
