PHOTO FLASHBACK: FEBRUARY 2, 1967 Clarendon College celebrates silver jubilee

The two-storey assembly hall and library building of Clarendon College. The hall is to have a capacity of 1,000. Its contract cost is set at 25,000 pounds, with a 30,000 pounds outlay envisaged by the time it is furnished.
The Clarendon College community of about 700 students and 36 teachers, on the occasion of the school's 25th anniversary on February 2, 1967.

On February 2, 1942, in a wooden house at Rosebank, Chapelton, Clarendon College opened with five boys and five girls, under the tutelage of the Rev. Lester Davy and Miss Hyacinth Balfour.
