After doing the Hypothermic Half Marathon in Edmonton, David Eliuk shared that it was a great feeling to have attempted a Guinness World Record – potentially beating David Smith’s 2019 record of wearing 76 shirts.

After running 13.1 miles and training for five months, David shared with Global News that it was painful. "It feels great to be done. I had an amazing team behind me.” He spoke about the “issues” he had with circulation wearing all those tops.

"I had a lot of issues with constriction on my arms in the first lap and the crew was able to help me get through that,” he shared.

He went on to praise everyone involved and urged them to be "proud" of themselves.

In an Instagram post, he added: "There were a lot of great stories that came out of yesterday's race and mine was only one of them. Everyone should be proud of their accomplishments."
