There was a big show of teeth by these Class Three sprinters in this 100 yards heat won by C. Major of Jamaica College, with Z. Henry of Kingston College (right) second and D. Quarrie (No. 18) of Camperdown third. Major's time of 11.5 was the fastest of the heats on March 19, 1964.

The Inter-Secondary Schools Track and Field Championship is one of the biggest sporting events on the school sporting calendar. Schools from all over the island put their best on show. The championship has produced several sporting greats.
