Dr Anton Vratusa makes first official call on prime minister
Prime Minister Hugh Shearer and Yugoslav Ambassador to Jamaica, Dr Anton Vratusa, had a productive session at his office. It was the first official meeting between the two where Dr Vratusa presented the prime minister with his credentials.

Yugoslav ambassador presents credentials to PM
The first Yugoslav Ambassador to Jamaica, Dr Anton Vratusa, presented a copy of his credentials to the prime minister, the Rt Honourable Hugh Shearer, yesterday morning.
The presentation was made by the ambassador when he paid his first official call on the prime minister at his office. He was accompanied by Dr Vladimir Pavi-cevic, second secretary, Yugoslav Embassy, and they were introduced to the prime minister by the permanent secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, J. M. Lloyd. Also present was the chief of protocol, C.S. Mc-Morris.
The prime minister and Dr Vratusa, who is also Yugoslavia’s ambassador to the United Nations, spent over one hour together discussing the main matters of mutual interest which may arise at the UN.
