JBC'S WOMAN Leonie Forbes, introduced Mr Merrick Needham, acting general manager of the JBC to the television audience in 1967 when he broke a sealed box to pick the lucky winner of £1,000 radiogram.

Leonie Forbes was a theatre legend. She did significant work with Jamaica Broadcasting Commission and also appeared in a number of television dramas and local plays.
