Cabinet gives dinner to delegates
THE CABINET gave a dinner in honour of the visiting delegates to the Conference of Commonwealth Caribbean Countries at Casa Monte Hotel on Wednesday evening.
Prominent on the menu were Jamaican foods - rice and peas, breadfruit, crushed yam, plantains, baked bananas with coconut cream, and coffee.
Diners were grouped at six, small tables for better and more informal enjoyment. With the Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Rt. Hon. Sir Alexander Bustamante and Lady Bustamante, were the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the Rt. Hon. Dr Eric Williams; the Premier of Barbados, the Hon. Errol Barrow; the Premier of British Guiana, the Hon. Dr Cheddi Jagan and Mrs Jagan.
