A GIFT for Mrs Michael Manley, wife of the prime minister of Jamaica, from Sra Esther Zuno de Echeverría, wife of the president of Mexico, is unveiled at Jamaica House on January 13, 1975.

POPULAR WITH VAST CROWD: These two pictures show a group of riders (left) and (at right) one female rider among the 300 performers who gave the grand Mexican Fiesta and horse-riding display at the National Stadium on January 12, 1975. This event marked the opening of the three-day cultural mission led by Sra Maria Esther Zuno de Echeverría, wife of the president of Mexico.
