Governor of Bermuda visits Regiment in training
The Governor of Bermuda, Rt. Hon. Lord Martonmere, along with Lt. Col. Michael Darling, visited Bermuda Regiment troops currently undergoing training in Jamaica. The visit, which took place before their scheduled return home, allowed the Governor to observe the progress of the regiment and engage with the soldiers.

The Governor of Bermuda, the Rt. Hon. Lord Martonmere, arrived in Jamaica yesterday afternoon from Nassau. He was accompanied by Lt. Col. Michael Darling, head of the Bermuda Regiment.
They travelled by JDF helicopter from Palisadoes Airport to King’s House, where they spent the night.
Their Excellencies, the Governor-General, Sir Clifford Campbell, and Lady Campbell, gave a dinner party at King’s House last night in honour of the visiting Governor.
This morning, Lord Martonmere and Lt. Col. Darling leaves King’s House to visit part of the Bermuda Regiment, which has been in training in Jamaica. They return home with the Regiment on Thursday.
