Learning the art of fashion designing at KA-JU Dressmaking and Fashion Designing Institute is a practical exercise.
While students refine their craft, they also create ready-to-wear designs that are sold at the school. Students of the 28-year-old institution recently created a line inspired by our African heritage and the celebration of Black History Month. Bright, bold and dramatic, the designs were a true reflection of the motherland. Here are a few of the designs.
All items are available for sale at the school located at 3A Cairncurren Avenue, Mae's Building, Shop 3, Kingston 20.
