Alexion Ann-Marie Mcdonald ready to dominate

Following on the global success of Tami Williams and Kai Newman, Saint International is releasing another budding star on the world in the form of 17-year-old Alexion Ann-Marie Mcdonald.

Here is a little about the young model who is certainly one to watch.

How were you discovered?

AAM: I confidently emailed Saint International as that is the agency I wanted to be with.

Where exactly in Jamaica are you from?

AAM: St Elizabeth (Bull Savanna).

How many siblings do you have?

AAM: Twelve; seven brothers and five sisters.

Favourite musician?

AAM: Taylor Swift.

Favourite colour?

AAM: Purple.

Favourite food?

AAM: Jerked chicken.

What was your experience in the Fashion Face of the Caribbean?

AAM: It was amazing. A lot of hard work. I had to learn to walk in high heels for the first time. Mr Peters is a hard taskmaster and he pushed me hard, but I am really happy he did. He is a great model trainer. I actually was a bit nervous when I had to meet all those agencies, but overall, it was a good experience.

Which Jamaican designers are among your favourite?

AAM: Kurt Campbell, Gregory Williams, Neah-Lis, Kadian Nicely and Andre Shirley.

Which international model do you admire?

AAM: My Saint International sister, Tami Williams.

Which fashion market will you love to visit (that you haven't been to before)?

AAM: Paris, Paris, Paris!

What do you miss about Jamaica when you travel?

AAM: The food.

What's the best thing that has happened to you since you started travelling as a model?

AAM: Being able to meet new and amazing people each time.

What advice would you give to young persons who have always wanted to be a model?

AAM: Always believe in yourself and get an agent like Deiwght Peters of Saint International. I couldn't have asked for a better agent who understands the business and can guide me.
