It was a night of glitz and glamour last Wednesday as the Sagicor Group celebrated their exceptional employees at their annual corporate awards at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel.

Stepping onto the red carpet and into the sparkled venue, you were instantly dazzled by the decor and stunned by the bold fashion.

After a spirited cocktail, the formalities began with graceful notes from De Chorus.

Chairman, of Sagicor Group, R. Danny Williams welcomed guests and expressed his joy and warm congratulations to the persons who have helped in the growth and success of the Company. This being his last year as Chairman of the Group, Sagicor included a testimonial video presentation that captured the hearts and lives William's have touched.

Outgoing, President and CEO, Richard Byles took to the stage to vocalise his pride in athletic parallel, in the spirit of Champs.

"Whilst it is you who close the deals, sold the policies, and solicited the investments- you who ran the race- the track on which you ran, was Sagicor," he said.

Awarding the best of the best

With much admiration, Williams returned to the stage to gift Byles with a portrait that symbolises his many years of hard work. Making even better memories, Sagicor acknowledged a forerunner and their longest employee, Loris Chin- Young who have been a honorary member for over 30 years.

Jennifer 'Jenny Jenny' Small, moderator of the nights proceedings guided the night's celebrations.

Among the awardees were Terron Dewar- brand manager of Sagicor Bank, winning the team member of the year award and Selena Chin- executive financial advisor, winning the Danny Williams Trophy for the fifth consecutive year.

Receiving four awards including the Pansy Ennevor and first year commission trophy for the fourth and fifth consecutive year was 32-year-old Loeri Robinson, showing that there are no limits to success and determination.

The night continued with highlights of accomptslishments of the employees and by extension the company and a commitments of continued success.
