Deliciously healthy
If you like your food natural, then this delectable barbecue mushroom delight served with irie salad, pumpkin and banana quiche flavoured with onion, scallion and garlic with vegetables - lettuce, tomato, cabbage, avocado and fried ripe plantain on the side is sure to hit to spot. As if that was not enough, you can top it off with a pineapple tart dessert made with ginger, cinnamon, with whole wheat flour. These are some of the delectable offerings that welcomes you to Natural Touch Vegetarian cuisine.
According to owner Davine Moving, you can't go wrong when you go vegetarian. "There are not a lot of vegetarian restaurants that are a part of Restaurant Week (RW), so it's a good medium to spread the importance of healthy food," she expressed. The vegetarian restaurant joined the RW line up three years ago, after changing its name from Viope, and landing in Orchid Village Plaza on Barbican Road.
Chef Oniel Williams is confident in his choice of flavours for his Reggae roti wrap done Jamaican style, served with ripe fried plantain, vegetables; tomato, lettuce and carrot, avocado and split peas, topped with a sweet coconut gizzarda for dessert.
Lunch time is healthy time for all customers during RW - two vegetarian combos is a complete meal including dessert. Natural homemade drink will be at your disposal with locally made fruits juices in flavours ranging from extracted cane juice, apple, cherry, guava, irish mosh, coconut water, beet root, June plum green juice and fruit smoothies.
Moving said that the friendly staff at the restaurant offers valuable service, with good authentic vegetarian food, in a cool and cosy environment - plus you are guaranteed to get value for your money.
Moving said that her client base has grown tremendously and she will continue to provide healthy mouth-watering goodness to her masses.
