Plates of vegetable casserole made with 'wasted' produce deemed unsuitable by food stores because of the products' appearance are ready for consumption in the northern Greek city of Thessalonik. More than 5,000 ate over two tons of perfectly edible produce in a 'Feeding5000' event organized by global CEO Feedback to highlight the waste of foodstuff in advanced societies.
