Indulge in ever sip of Harbour Wines & Spirits
Last Tuesday, the Kingston Harbour on the waterfront in downtown Kingston provided a gastronomic feat for the ages with the launch of Harbour Wines & Spirits by GraceKennedy.
Whatever your choice of wine, they had it. From sweet moscato to full-bodied red blends to sparkling prosecos from some of the traditional and new-world wines from Spain, France, California, Washington state, and Australia, just to name a few.
And when you have a function by the 'First family of fine foods', the food has to be good, and it was.
Guests were greeted with a special cream of pumpkin soup that warmed the palate straight down to your toes. That just whetted the palate for what was to come.
GraceKennedy's chef Jason Smith cooked up a storm with a live pasta station boasting his delectable shrimp pasta. Also available at the numerous stations around the venue were scrumptious oven-roasted pork loin with a Trivento sweet Malbec reduction, cheesy callaloo quiche, tender grilled chicken skewers with sweet chilli dipping sauce, tasty samosas with a tamarind dipping, panko-coated codfish, and potato balls with a hint of Scotch bonnet mayo. Whatever you chose, there was a 'wine for that'.
And, of course, the night wouldn't be complete without some sweet treats, which included, Grace Aloe mousses and Sutter Home Moscato Cheese and cheeses. Harbour Wines & Spirits definitely made a splash in the Jamaican market.
