Appleton Estate’s National Rum day leaves its signature
True to its convivial spirit, Appleton Estate brought patrons together for a memorable celebration of National Rum Day. We shared the brand new Appleton Estate Signature Blend mixes to try at 10 of our favourite spots, and indeed, our readers whetted their appetites with artfully crafted cocktails fitting of the versatile liquid gold.
If you weren’t part of last Friday’s islandwide Happy Hour, then you surely missed out on a fun-filled night of global cocktail culture. If you did join in the responsible merrymaking, then your final stop would have been the National Rum Day concert at Appleton Estate Murray’s Chillin’, featuring performances by Maxi Priest and Wayne Marshall. It was an epic marriage of reggae music and rum, and was a fitting close to celebrate Jamaica’s pioneering Appleton Estate rums.
