WATCH: Warmington apologises for assaulting Gleaner intern

Member of Parliament for South West St Catherine, Everald Warmington has apologised for assaulting a Gleaner representative this morning.
Warmington left the caucus to address members of The Gleaner team although the young woman who was assaulted, was not present.
Warmington had expressed a desire to speak to her in person.
He said he felt the need to apologise as he was not feeling well when the incident took place.

He said he was feeling drugged after returning from a doctor's appointment where he underwent therapy for a slip disk to the neck.
Warmington who was wearing a neck brace, said he has been in excruciating pain since last week.
