COVID tally increases to 505 as three more ship workers test positive

The Health Ministry says there are 422 patients in isolation and 126 persons of interest are in quarantine at a Government facility.

Health Minister Dr Christopher Tufton has reported that another two men and one woman who arrived in Jamaica on the flight from the United Kingdom last week have tested positive for the coronavirus.

This has pushed Jamaica's COVID-19 tally to 505.

Six of the more than 120 returning Jamaicans have now tested positive.

All six were workers on the Marella Discovery 2 which was denied landing in Jamaica more than a month ago.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry says there are 422 patients in isolation and 126 persons of interest are in quarantine at a Government facility.
