Jamaica records 67 new COVID cases, 29 recoveries

Of the 67 newly confirmed cases, 31 are males and 36 females, with ages ranging from eight months to 77 years.

Jamaica has recorded 67 new COVID cases pushing the tally to 1,413 with five moderately ill and four critical.

There were 29 more recoveries, increasing the total to 817.

Active cases are now at 508.

Meanwhile, one patient who died from traumatic wounds was found to be COVID-19 positive after routine testing.

St Elizabeth - 1

St Ann -1

Eleven of the 67 new cases are contacts of confirmed cases; one is an imported case from the Dominican Republic and 55 are under investigation.
