3 - The slimmest margin of victory in a general election. This was recorded in 1993 when Dr Neville Gallimore of the Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) beat the People’s National Party’s Glenville Shaw, in the process becoming a seven-term member of parliament for St Ann South Western. The seat was won in the 2016 general election by the JLP’s Zavia Mayne by 337 votes. He is being challenged by the PNP’s Val Wint.
