The NWC says water supply will be restored as soon as electricity is returned to the Long Mountain deep well by the Jamaica Public Service Company.

The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that customers in several eastern Kingston communities are now without water.

According to the NWC, this is because of a disruption to the Long Mountain deep well power supply in St Andrew.

The power disruption is the result of burnt power lines.

Affected communities:

*Harbour View
*Palisadoes
*Port Royal
*Seven Miles

The NWC says water supply will be restored as soon as electricity is returned by the Jamaica Public Service Company.
