Holness must name small Cabinet

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I lift my hat to The Gleaner's suggestions to the new Government of Jamaica
led by the Jamaica Labour Party's Andrew Holness in the editorial 'New order for Jamaica'.
To fulfil some of the points raised in the editorial, Mr Holness must first name
a very small Cabinet, reduce considerably the number of persons employed as
consultants and advisers to the prime minister and to ministers. These
have been sucking millions of dollars from the poor taxpayers of Jamaica.
This new government can set the example of selecting each member of the new
Cabinet with knowledge by profession to the ministerial portfolio he or she is
asked to hold.
