TVJ apologises to viewers

THE EDITOR, Sir:
On Saturday, June 10, 2017, there was an unfortunate experience for our viewers during the airing of the Racers Grand Prix when the station joined the 8:25 p.m. lottery draw.
Our normal treatment during major events is to have minimum interruptions to the viewer experience, particularly during important television moments such as what was happening on Saturday. We did not execute this last weekend and we immediately issued an apology on the night via social media, and we are now apologising to the broader audience through this medium.
We are always working with all our stakeholders on air and at events as we strive to bring the best possible experience for our audiences all the time.
