I've been victim, too, of Falmouth Hospital folly

THE EDITOR, Sir:
With reference to your Sunday Gleaner story 'Falmouth Hospital folly - Woman released despite four broken ribs after traffic accident' (March 11, 2018), I had a similar experience at St Ann's Bay Hospital after an accident.
My clothes had to be cut off me, as I had no sensation or ability to move, or even attempt to sit up. I was crying in excruciating pain.
The doctor told me that he was prescribing painkillers and I was free to go home. I insisted that I would not leave until I was diagnosed. It turned out that I had spinal injuries with broken lumbar vertebrae.
