Injustice to agriculture

THE EDITOR, Sir:
I am appalled that agriculture continues to be a subset of some other ministry. A portfolio as important as agriculture needs attention at the highest level.
Our food security is of paramount importance, and national development around agriculture goes a-begging. At the rate we are going, sooner or later, we will have to go hat in hand to our neighbours to get a meal.
Sad.
