Farm thieves the real pests

THE EDITOR, Sir:
Before Ronnie Thwaites goes nuts over coconuts ('Let's go nuts over coconuts', Gleaner, April 9, 2018), he needs to tell us what the collective members of parliament will do to put a stop to praedial larceny of coconuts and other agricultural produce in Jamaica.
Jamaica has some agricultural pests, most of which can be controlled by natural predators and/or chemicals. But the one which is the most debilitating cannot - people.
