Constant Spring Road water woes

Published:Wednesday | September 26, 2018 | 12:00 AM

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I would like to bring to your attention that the residents of Constant Spring Road, for the past two months, have been without the precious commodity, water.

The National Water Commission (NWC) is scheduling water lock-offs when they wish without any prior notice.

This is causing a lot of problems to all the residents and specially children as their schools have reopened, and the morning rush, which include the traffic, is making it all unbearable.

We wish that NWC could be privatised as the Government cannot handle this at all.

It is just not here, but most of Kingston is suffering because of this ill management of NWC.

Children and others are falling sick because of lack of water and hygiene.

This is not tolerable as the children are suffering with stress, traffic problems, pollution, and now hygiene.

Please help!
