Good appointments by the prime minister
THE EDITOR, Madam:
It is a great move by Prime Minister Andrew Holness to appoint Mike Henry to the labour and social security ministry and Karl Samuda to the education, youth and information portfolios. They bring a wealth of knowledge to manage these ministries.
These two men preformed above standard and give their best for the development of Jamaica.
Many are calling for younger minds to be in those ministries, but there are many sides to the situation in a time like this. Both gentlemen have given years of long and dedicated service to the people who put them in Parliament, and the younger parliamentarians should learn from them.
Prime Minister Holness is young and intelligent, he knows how to manage his Cabinet and is trying to put the economy on a right track. He is working in the best interest of the people to let us see the light is at the end of the tunnel to guide us on our way.
Ministers Henry and Samuda should continue to do their best.
