Published:Thursday | December 10, 2020 | 12:14 AM

Tuesday, December 8 was V-Day in the UK as 800,000 doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine was administered to a select group of Britons. We asked our social media followers if they would accept the COVID-19 vaccine.

“I want to wait and see what happens to the people who take it first. Give them six months or more.”

– @jkimlyn

“No, absolutely not. Haven’t been tested long enough, only on animals.”

– @dellmoor77

“They say a vaccine takes years to build and this was done in less than a year. No, me good. I will continue to build my immune system naturally. And as someone mentioned, China did it without a vaccine, so why can’t we?”

– @mrs_j.c.d.h

“Yes. Vaccines have worked in the past and are helpful in herd immunity...”

– @zee.wallie

“No, because it doesn’t stop u from spreading the virus.”

– @webbz_webby

“One year after the minister of health takes it in a live video close-up shot. The vaccine brand must be in clear view.”

– @rcc_2020

“Yea, because I need to go back to my normal life as soon as possible.”

– @babygansta_20

“After 50,000 people try it and there is no problem.”

– @davii_medz

“Not until mi see all the big shot take it live.”

– @sasha_kay19

“Right now, mi woulda tek it! Mek it kill mi.”

– @_chase23_

“First, educate yourself on how a vaccine actually work, that would be my advice to everyone thinking about taking it.”

– @chineygal__shan

“The same way I have never taken flu vaccine, I have no need for COVID-19 vaccine. People are talking as if you will be prevented from catching COVID19 in the future.”
