Thank you, Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee
THE EDITOR, Sir:
Please permit me a few sentences in your widely read newspaper to pay tribute to an outstanding mental health practitioner, Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee from the Spalding Mental Health Clinic in Clarendon. Recently, Nurse Robinson-Tee ended her distinguished career as a mental health officer with the Clarendon Health Department. As a mental heath patient for over 20 years, I have benefited from the services and love from Nurse Robinson-Tee for many years, and she represented the best that the mental heath sector has to offer. She was caring, accommodating and very sensitive to all of us as mental health patients at the Spalding Mental Health Clinic. She had a penchant for working long hours and often times, she was the first person at work and the last person to leave.
On behalf of the community of the mentally ill, particularly those of us at Spalding Mental Health Clinic, I want to publicly thank Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee for her many years of outstanding service towards mental health and psychiatric care in Jamaica, and I wish her continued success in her new endeavours. We will greatly miss her, but we take comfort in the positive impact she has had on our lives. Thank you, Nurse Fay Robinson-Tee. The word is always love!
