Tufton: Current dead-baby crisis different from Ferguson’s time

Aren’t 14 babies dead? How is it different? Oh because it was over four months makes it different? Tell that to the parents who lost their children. This is just egregious. – @Ms_Idoj

No minister should have to resign for something that someone else is being paid big bucks to take care of. No one person can micromanage every single entity in this country. Nothing will get better if we continue to think that there is a superhero in charge of a ministry and he or she alone will fix everything. My God! Condolences to the families. It’s not easy when you leave your baby expecting to get the best care. The paediatric wards in most of the hospitals need to be investigated. Routine checks need to be done consistently, as well. Eleven years ago it was alarming to see one nurse taking care of eight babies and things have not improved. – Vibrant Victoria Gooden-Green
